The Library of Congress National Film Registry announced their 2010 inductees into the film archives. This week we'll look at ads for 5 of the inductees.
Here's an ad for George Lucas' first movie, THX-1138. However, it's not this particular movie that the Library of Congress is archiving. They are actually archiving the original student film that this movie was based on; Electronic Labyrinth: THX-1138 4EB. It was the student film that won Lucas the United States National Student Film Festival in 1968.
Other 2010 Inductees:
1. The Empire Strikes Back.
2. Airplane!
3. Saturday Night Fever
4. All the President's Men
5. Malcolm X
