1989 Marvel Year in Review magazine.
Despite a huge marketing push, this movie was never released theatrically in the USA. It was released in Europe, but it wasn't released in the US until around 1992 when the VHS became available.
I know I'm in the minority here, but I can't help but love this film! It finds in perfectly with the rest of the 80s machismo flicks by Stallone and Schwarzenegger.
ReplyDeleteI recently reviewed this for www.thewitchshatblog.com, and I was totally impressed with it. It DOES fit in with 80s actioners perfectly and also is a pretty accurate representation of the character too, which for some reason has really been mistreated by Hollywood
